Instructors Re accreditation

Instructors are accredited for I year. The one-day annual re accreditation allows in house Instructors to refresh their physical skills, explore any problems, and receive updating in any amendments, emergent research, legislation and guidance and court precedents.

The aim is to bring Instructors together in a supportive environment to discuss, share and explore CALM related issues and to further develop and enhance practice standards. The course also offers the opportunity to explore and discuss specific problems encountered in supporting agency behavioural management strategies. An assessment of Instructor competence will also be undertaken.

Instructors can attend an 'open' Instructors Re-accreditation at CALM HQ, where they will join with Instructors from other organisations and service sectors. This creates an environment ripe for information exchange and maximising learning opportunities.

Alternatively CALM can deliver Instructor re-accreditations directly at the agencys own venue, where numbers permit.
