CALM Training can provide a range of consultancy services on training, policy development and behavioural management.
CALM staff have an international reputation in regard to both the academic analysis of violence management issues and practical experience in both practitioner and senior management roles. We are involved in national developments and the international conference circuit. An involvement which ensures we keep up to date with developments in the field, in research and in the legal framework.
We have been involved in a wide range of national and organisational research and policy development initiatives and can support organisations in the development, implementation and evaluation of strategies on a wide range of professional issues. To date our staff have written, or assisted in the development of a significant proportion of public sector organisational policies on violence at work or challenging behaviour management .
In addition to the range of policy documents on aggression management developed for individual employers, a number of authoritative national documents incorporate the published work of CALM staff. Our staff have also been involved in strategic service and policy development at national and international levels.
